God Loves YOU and has a wonderful plan for YOU TODAY!
Mission StatementTo assist in creating awareness for the effectiveness of intentional ministry evangelism. To help congregations assess their communities, working with associations and churches to train and develop intentional strategies in servant, event, street, ministry evangelism.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
It is with a grateful heart and much praise and adoration for our Savior and
Lord Jesus Christ that I share with you how He has been blessing
our associational evangelistic efforts these past months.
In August we did back to back evangelism events at both the Valdese Festival
and the Drexel Fair. The power of the Holy Spirit was upon us and He
poured out His love to those who dropped by our booth. God is AWESOME! We
had the privileged to see approximately (44) precious souls make decisions
for Christ. Many of those were first time decisions for salvation.
Despite rainy weather, the Lord sent many by our booth at the Valdese
Festival where we had wonderful conversations with them about having a
personal relationship with Jesus as they waited to get a John 3:16
horseshoe. We had approximately (25) volunteers representing (8) different
churches in our association help with the event and (7) first time decisions
for salvation.
Following right on the coat tail of the festival was the Drexel Fair that
started on a Tuesday night. God continued to send forth laborers unto the
harvest. On Tuesday, the Journey Church came and manned the
evangelism booth in the exhibit hall doing face painting for children and
adults, passing out gospel tracts, hand sanitizer, pens, and church
literature while simply loving on people. The fruit of their labor resulted
in (3) adults giving their hearts to Jesus for salvation.
On Wednesday, High Peak Baptist worked the booth handing out gospel
tracts and refrigerator magnets as they loved on those who came through the
exhibit hall. Then on Thursday evening, Walker Road Baptist worked
the booth making Jesus bracelets and sharing the gospel that resulted in (3)
first time salvation decisions.
On both Friday and Saturday, the Great American Cowboy Church in
partnership with the Blazin Trails Cowboy Church from Lincoln Co,
and with the assistant of church members along with associational evangelism
team members stamped John 3:16 on horseshoes and shared the gospel using the
evangecube. Over 800 horseshoes were stamped and a total of (34) individuals
made salvation decisions for Christ during these two nights. Altogether
there were approximately (60) volunteers representing (12) churches
participating in the Drexel Fair Outreach.
I would like to say a huge thank you to each church and person who
participated or contributed in many different ways to make this possible. A
special thank you to Dian Ramsey and Kristi Farley for decorating the
exhibit hall booth and another special thank you to the members of
Southside Baptist Church WMU for your prayers and monetary gift towards
these events.
It is such a joy to serve Jesus and truly exciting to see so many different
people and churches come together for one common purpose....Loving Jesus,
Loving Others and working as the body of Christ in Unity for Kingdom
Growth. (Acts 1:8; Matthew 28:19-20)
In Jesus,
