Hi my name is Dennis,

My life before Christ

As a young teen I fell into sinful ways of living.  It started with lying then smoking and drinking.  I was trying to fit in with my friends and was; only it was with the wrong crowd.  I see now how foolish I was.

My life defining moment/life changing experience

I grew up in a Christian home, both parents very strong in their walk with Christ.  Just watching my parents and seeing what Godly people they were made me want to know Jesus.  As I learned about Jesus I knew I had to have him in my heart and in my life.  I learned that Jesus was born and died on the cross for our sins; that He was buried, and on the third day arose from the dead.  Once I learned about His love and forgiveness I confessed my sins and ask Jesus to forgive me and to come into my heart and live.

My life as a Christian today

Now that I know Jesus and have accepted him as Lord and Savior of my life I can say that my life has changed for the better.  God has blessed me in so many ways,   but my family is my richest earthly blessing by far.  From my loving, compassionate wife, to my four beautiful healthy children, God has blessed me.

Yes, life is full of storms, trials, and plenty of heartaches. But, with God in control of my life there is nothing I cannot face.  I know I’m never alone.  I see things in a different light now.  It feels great knowing when I die as a Christian; they’ll be no more pain, suffering, or sickness just eternal peace with God.
