Mission Service Corps (MSC) personnel are self-funded missionaries who serve for four months or more.  As self-funded mission personnel, many MSC missionaries are supported through financial contributions from ministry partners who give beyond their tithes and offerings to their local church. As well as many churches adopt MSC missionaries and support them through their budget.
